Is Fragmentation still a problem with gingerbread like it was with fro yo an earlier versions? My bionic has gotten slower and slower lately.

Anyone got any suggestions on how to speed the bionic back up without formatting and starting over?

It's not what you are looking for, but the only fragmentation of Android that I am aware of has to do with different versions of Android for phone and tablets which is supposed to be resolved with ICS.

ditto this, because of the memory format and no actual disc system there shouldn't be any fragmentation happening as far as files are concerned. as I understand it fragmentation occurs because of the HDD's read/write properties and "misplacing" things as the disc spins *shrug*
