Ok, I know the title is a little vague but.... I used to be rooted running UD and now i went back to stock with a modified update.zip that removed SPrecovery, wiped data, and did a factory reset. I installed the OTA 2.1 update, but now the problem is that while looking through androzip (clicked back once to leave sd card) i see a folder titled "root".... is this suppose to be here? thanks for the help!!!!

oh, so you broke it and needed to return it. could have just flashed the 2.1 sbf to ensure its stock if you we worried. but i dont think they would look through files anyways. as long as it has stock recovery and no root apps, or root items on your sdcard (dont return that anyways) you're fine.

oh @!&$ just remembered i still have rom manager (even though no root) better delete that.... it would just be a little irritating that even though the phone is physically broken and nothing to do with rooting they would probably still try to turn me away for the insurance claim.
