So I found this Droid X and I want to switch it to Boost Mobile. The phone screen lock as been enabled and I'm unable to access it to reset it. So how can I reset the phone and unlock it to be able to transfer it to my carrier?

The moral thing to do is to call Verizon and give them the meid number to run (under battery). If its been reported stolen/lost then the phone has been blacklisted and can't be activated.

Are you seriously asking for advice to perpetrate grand theft?! *Turn it into Verizon or the Police. I really hope there is more to this story and you aren't really some incompetent burgeoning criminal.

Please tell me by found you mean you had it left ina drawer or someone who wasn't using it gave it to you. Restore my faith in humanity, C'MON!

    To Droid-Xer,

    Thanks for the info.

    To K.C.Cole,

Instead of pointing out the obvious stupid remarks that you had made, I'll explain to you that when I indicated "found" I meant FOUND! I found the phone in a fast food restaraunt's restroom. It didn't have a battery or a SD card and I was able to start it up when I plugged it in with a USB cord. Strangely enough, people do loose their phones, DUH!!!!

BTW....I'll be calling Verizon to report it.

I think calling vzw in the best thing too. So, since you figured out what to do, I'm going to close this to avoid any unnecessary comments.
