I just formatted my memory card and went to move my mp3's over, and I found a bunch of gibberish files on the card. They look like this:

!RüΓp)à╝.┐ü'
$çπ└₧V).ë)
~s≤⌡≈■b..╒ε═
√znV╕╓»┌.à░
╒&ÿéÜèf\.rp\

I'm not sure if these are Windows files that didn't get removed during the format (not sure how that's possible) or the Droid 2 installs them automatically. What is the deal with these and can I delete them safely?

Yes. If you notice, the last three characters are separated by a dot. I reformatted and it was fine, so I think Windows just added some corrupted files when I plugged it in.
