Bowers, i know how to do update.zip changing of roms, but not exactly the reset...could you refer me to a link that describes this? Thanks!

First off, can you download BB as a nandroid backup? The only time I have done the update.zip is doing the manually update to 2.0.1. Don't know if this would work and it is truely up to you. Go into sprecovery and do a backup then do the factory reset. After the do the update.zip, then go back and do a restore of data. If you would like more detail just PM
