Forced automatic updating?

Hi, I have a Droid Razr running on Jelly Bean (4.1.2), and my apps from the Play Store always auto update for some reason. This problem is recent, only a few weeks ago.

I know very well about using the Play Store settings, I have it set off for auto updates. I have obviously restarted my phone.

This is really annoying because alot of apps have become worthless to me due to poor updates (Weather Channel)

If anyone can tell me if there is a fix for this, I would greatly appreciate it. And as I said before, my settings in the Play Store have been set to NOT auto-update.

I have no idea what to make of this.

You should be able to go to Manage Apps, find the newly updated apps & uninstall the update. But if they are updating automatically, it may not help until you find out why.

Having the same thing with my GS3 Verizon.
