force manual update!

I have a Motorola devour 1.6 i recently started research on how to force update to 2.1. Or 2.0 Unfortunately I've had little progress. I am new to android forum i a hoping someone. Can give me some advice ? Thanks

Well, I need more information over this are you talking about forcing the update about the Android versions or something else ?? Didn't get actually what you are talking about ! I guess I lacks some technical skills.
