So you pick what works best for you.

I don't view this as anything more than a characteristic of Pentile technology. I don't view it as something "wrong" or "defective".

Just make sure you own the phone that best fits your needs!

That's good and dandy. The problem is that there are no phones out there that are not PenTile and with the same performance as the Bionic. So I'm doomed.

almost ordered this phone online without looking at it instore...so glad I checked it out, gonna wait for nexus or vigor...this is unacceptable

Its def notable, but with no other real confirmed phones on the horizon, an incredible with a fried radio and no insurance, I had no choice but upgrade to the bionic.

I agree with what someone else said about the phones virginity. Once the cherry pops and new updates start oozing out, I bet the phone will kick booty.
