Love the phone but was wondering if there is an easy way to increase the font size?
settings>accessibility and theres zoom mode and screen reader
see if thats what u want. i dont think you can change anything about the font tho
Thanks, thats perfect!!
NO, I don't like the ZOOM feature. It only does a little aquare and it actually blows it up way too big. I just need somthing that maybe doubles the size of the standard font globally.
I would REALLY like to know how to Increase the Font Size on my new Droid X. The text is just way too small. On my old BB Phone and other phones that I have had, you could change fonts and make them bigger globally on the phone but I can't find a way to do it on the Droid X! Please help!
In the Email app you can go to setting and change the font size. Not Gmail or Text messaging.
In anticipation of receiving the Droid I switched everythign over to GMAIL so I'm not even using the EMAIL APP. So yes I need it to be bigger in GMAIL and the TEXT MESS Part of the phone
Check the app market.
If you use handcent, you can adjust the font size thru its settings. This is an SMS app thru the market. Not sure on email tho as I use stock & there is no way to change as I see. I was thinking there was a similar thread a couple of months back - try a forum search (if you haven't of course).

Yeah someone just told me about Handcent for the SMS text Part and I installed that and it works great! As far as making the GMAIL bigger they said that I woudl have to wait for the Android 2.2 release and then we can adjust the font size in Gmail. Thanks for your help
