Last night, DroidModderX shared that some crafty devs over at XDA indirectly made the new Developer Edition of the Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III completely unnecessary. They found a way to unlock the bootloader on the regular version of the Verizon SGS3. Their method basically abuses a leaked insecure bootloader. The video above walks you through the process if you desire the potential to add new custom stuff to your VZW SGS3. Keep in mind to follow the instructions carefully, and once you do this, never download official updates from VZW and Samsung. We wouldn't want you to brick your device. Here's a link below if you prefer written instructions over the video.
