Calls Grow for FAA to Loosen “Flight-Sharing Services” Restrictions After ATL Debacle – FlyerTalk - The world's most popular frequent flyer community

I know people are mad but I don't think they know what they are asking for. Now you can rent a private jet for travel, but when the customer see how much it costs for jet fuel, pilots, and airport fees, they will realize that $200 ticket may not be so bad. Plus there will need to be a lot of oversight for an Uberfly to work as GA (general aviation) has the highest number of accidents.

The public out cry when a drunk crop duster put one in the trees full of uber passengers is not what the FAA needs right now.

I would hate to see surge pricing for the service.
