I just got my new X and I love it so far, but something that I really miss is the flashlight function on my Omnia. I could hold down the volume down button and it would turn on the camera flash for 20 seconds. Is there anything like that available for the X? So far all I have found are "Flashlights" that just put a bright light on the screen, which is lame compared to the actual flash LED.

Search for droidlight in the marketplace. It does what you're looking for.

Thanks spaz! I'll check that out. (Once the 3G network comes back up here in ATL :icon_evil: )

The "Brightest Flashlight Free" app does work correctly with the Droid X, including the camera LED. It's available on the Android Market.

Telsa LED is the best. Check it out. It uses the light from the flash on camera
