To make a backup of the rom that's on your phone, do you
Do that the same way as you do when you made your first backup after rooting?

No....unrooting does just that. If you want to go all the way stock and unrooted, you first have to get to a stock build, then unroot. Or flash a .sbf which does both.

Yes, that is what you should do every time you make a change to your OS

Since we're asking nooby questions, i'll ask this.

If i flash the backup that i made of the original stock rom, remove boostrapper, clockwork, titanium, and any other root only apps, and then unroot using z4root, verizon techs will not be able to tell that i ever did anything to void my warranty, correct?

If you want a good clean slate and want to do it the lazy way.. Just do an SBF and just turn it in like it just came out of the box!
