If you want a quick and easy way to try out the upcoming version of Android, Android L on your Nexus 7 2013 you are in luck. MultiRom has put together a quick port for this device and it can be installed via custom recovery. I would highly recommend that you first make a complete nandroid backup since Android L doesn't seem to be as stable as the current Android 4.4.4 build. If you want to try it out head the link below if it doesn't work out for you then just restore that nandroid backup.

Interesting. I just upped my N7 to 4.4.4 today. I don't have anything on it that is important. I may do some flashing soon.

Yea, the tablet UI looks exactly the same. It's all behind the scenes.

500 Quatloos for the first person to find a root solution for L.

They found one just going to take time for other root apps to catch up.

Yeah, I saw that Titanium Backup isn't functional yet. Looks like I'll be holding off for the time-being.

I feel like with each version of android I am relying less and less on tibu because of cloud back ups. And now with the l eventually looking to back up some app data to cloud servers I think we are getting to a point where you can buy a new android device and pick up where you left off from the old one.
