I'm running SS 4.9 and received an update from the market for flash player after it downloads it says install unsuccessful. I've tried to fix permissions and clear market cache with no luck.

Try unintalling the "old" flash first...

For me, doing the fix permissions in ChevyNo1Tools didn't result in working installs, but after running fix permissions in Rom Manager, all installs are fine. Maybe try that.
