I believe Greek got a sense ROM running on the droid with flash, its super alpha and has a ways to go. But in short, yes, a droid has in fact run flash

So has anyone confirmed the flash to be working on the moto droid using the apk that was posted earlier?

Seriously guys?? You can't use a rom for another phone. They have to be ported. Your lucky you didn't brick your phone. Now, the flash 10.1 and flashlite apks, are in that file, but they do nothing, as they are integrated into sense UI from the desire. That's what greek35t is working on, is porting that port to the droid.
I've installed the apks, tried everything, they don't do jack **** without the interface from sense..

According to this article on Gizmodo, Flash is coming, but only for Droid, Nexus and faster.

WHEN its coming is a bit of a bummer especially considering Palms Web OS 1.4 is rolling out today with flash 10 support.

Why's is a bummer? Sounds like the Palm programmers have their act together.

Correct, but I own a droid, and the prediction of flash for us is "some time in the first quarter." Ambiguous statements such as that make me even more impatient.

Two thirds of the first quarter is done when the weekend is gone. If Gizmodo is correct that isn't all that far off and it will be here before you know it. Of course it then needs to go into an update and make its way onto our phone. So maybe 2nd quarter before we officially have it on the Droid?

edit: The newslink says first half of the year, not first quarter.
