Fission ROM from Droid Pro...RC Builds...

Need to do the Android Vanilla Theme, fix dialer (has slide up curtain to block incall UI)and some other stuff.

Don't have device so can not fully test yet so any feedback would be awesome.

To learn more about Fission ROM visit the droid 2, droid x or droid 2 global forums...

Make sure you have nandroid backup first...Need Root and Clockwork Recovery, the droid2 version works and use z4root to obtain root.

Ok, so I installed and and it loaded successfully. But, when I turned on my device, it got stuck on the "Android" introduction screen.

Clear cache and data from clockwork recovery or stock recovery..

Get Fission ROM Manager from teamdefuse.com and use that if you want to help test. Lite version is fine for now then I will pass along the full version to you...

Oh duh...totally forgot about that. So far everything has been good, one thing I noticed. When I click on the "Phone" button, I see an OK and two arrows on the top bar, might be some kind of glitch or something. But other than that, good ROM. Thanks!

There seems to be a few bugs and this is very much a work in progress...

Once I get the ROM stable as in the other fission versions I can start porting themes over. I need a few testers cause I do not have droid pro yet. If you want to help test then join the IRC room.

I just bricked my phone when messing with the system/app folder using root explorer.

Now it starts up and keeps repeating "Droid" and never boots completely.

I have it currently in Android System Recovery mode, would I be able to flash this .zip file and get the phone working?

I installed clock work recovery and have the phone rooted, but I never did the clockwork recovery full install where you go into the program and so forth. I simply installed the APK and nothing beyond that.

I'll pay some serious money for someone to get a working SBF that can recover my Droid Pro, I'm desperate at this point haha.

Here are some bug that I have noticed...is the wallpaper suppose to be like that when you open up the Notifcation Tab? I also mentioned it to you yesterday about the Arrow and the "ok" on the Phone screen.

And I noticed that it wont even load up my pictures. Finally, the "Airplane" and "Bluetooth" icon keeps popping up in the notification bar even though I have them off.

Love the form factor of the Droid Pro, but am struggling with Blur. Had Fission Vanilla on my Droid 2 and am desperately missing it. AngDroid, what's it gonna take to get this ROM up on the Droid Pro? I'm prepared to donate to get you one just to have Fission running on here, have donated in the past for my other devices as well. Is anyone else with me?

I'm so tempted to start installing custom ROMs such as this, but the lack of sbf worries me. I can't risk "bricking" my phone now..leaving on a trip. Will give it a go when i get back!
