Pretty sure the Android os doesn't have support for a resistive screen. Overall, they are terrible. Specifically they are awful.

Agreed, it is an old technology that will most likely die off, or stay in cheap electronics, such as my home thermostat, not really a need for capacitive on that. I wish the debit machines at the stores would use capacitive, really annoying having to press hard to type in my pin.

The dare does have resistive, that's what my wife uses now and she does very well on it.

Somebody implied that the op had litigation pending about this. Wanted to point out that she mentioned that she googled this and found that there was litigation pending...not that she herself is ignorant enough to sue over not being able to read the specs. Just wanted t point this out so nobody assumes she is well, ya know lol.

And yes, capacitive screens are far superior to resistive.
