I use myxer to create ringtones and accidently downloaded one twice.

Is there anyway for me to delete the copy?

I can't seem to find where any of the ringtones I downloaded are even though they are on my phone. The only way I know how to get rid of them is to do a Data Wipe. This will cause me to have to re-make them all though just cause I wanted to get rid of one. (very inconvenient).

If anybody knows how to copy them off the phone so I can put them back on the phone after I wipe it or how to delete one it would be very helpful.

Connect/mount your phone to your computer. You phone will appear as a drive. Double click and look for Downloads.

You can copy the entire SD card to your computer or just the download file.

You can delete files on your SD card as well.

    Hope this is helpful.

Thanks for your quick response:). I tried looking in every folder on my computer after mounting it with no luck though. I can't for the life of me find where these ringtones get saved to. I even browsed through my phone using AndroZip looking for them and can't find them. If I leave the SD card and go to the operating system area I found the "Stock" ringtones under system/media/audio/ringtones but the downloaded ones aren't there either, just the ones that came with the phone. I don't understand where they could possibly be. They must be on my phone somewhere because they are still in the menu under settings where you pick your ringtone and they all work. It's like they are hidden files.

Look in the media and music folder. If they are not there do a search for the name or file extension. That will return all ringtones and you should be able to fine the folder and move.

Your help is much appreciated even though we didn't get to the bottom of it. I tried to google the subject and i had read here How do you delete downloaded ring tones? - Android Forums that they are kept in DCIM or DRM Protected folders but it looks like their solution deletes them all(which I was trying to avoid). I'm going to keep looking for something and if worse comes to worst then I'll just delete them and remake the ones I want to keep. Thanks for your help though.

If I find out more about it (where they save to, how to delete just one) I will make a thread for everybody for sure. Its just crazy that with the internet and everyone on it that nobody seems to know where they save or how to access them even though I'm positive tons of people have this problem.
