If you are using the built in Files app, it's pretty simple once you get used to it. When you are viewing files in Device Storage, long press on the file you want to move. You will see a check mark and the word Selected at the top of the screen. There are options on the bottom of the screen now (left to right): Trash Can, Copy, Move, Share & Rename. Select Move (third from left), then go to the drop down at the top (will now say 1 Selected) and select SD Card. Select the Move option on the top right to place the file on the SD Card, or any folder on the SD Card. Hope that helps.

There is tool that can detect both internal storage space and external memory space automatically so that it is able to scan the data no matter they are saved in the SD card. And then transfer data from internal memory to SD card.
