file image to flash to root droid 2.2.1

    have new (warranty replacement) droid 1 that I want to root. What image do I need to flash (with RSD lite)?

    the recovery only and complete root files linked to in the guide are still current and viable?

    got sbr recovery up but when it tried to update with update.zip it FAILED and when rebooted to access (to check zip file) sbr recovery now gone, reinstalling now.

    in guide, a crucial step is left out! You must say it doesn't work in forum while trying second time, then it works.

    Especially since you're about to flash a ROM with said recovery image and if the ROM is current that means you have the most current SU and whatnot. ;)

    so now I can't get ROM manager to flash it's recovery, errors out, doesn't seem to think I have internet connection (which I do)
