Gary wanted his RED & his X for original looks of course

So I tweaked this bad boy up a bit.

PLEASE let me know what you think? I'm trying to convince him to go with this! :)

Its definatly better and more proffesional looking but I still don't like the X your using, if you ment when u said he wants to keep the x that u wanted the same font then whatever, but there could definatly be a better X. Just my oppinion,

I prefer the original mainly because it's brighter and clearer.

Love it. I agree tho that the script X is not cool, Id say make it a different font and maybe have part of the X breaking out of the circle... give it dimention (sorry im a designer)

I'd like the scope part of it to be worked back in to the icon. And I agree with others who have said the font for the X isn't the best.

Just cuious, what is your guys oppinion on what could be done for scope, like what would u like to see, just curious couse I wouldn't mind tryin to make something, or ecleast to give people an idea of what u want

Sidenote - I don't like in your suggestion the globe in the backroung, it seems to much like stock browser

It's a step in the right direction. I do agree that the font should be different for the X though.

Well, since I started this whole "the default icon sucks" movement a while back... ;-)

I think this is an improvement. The red globe is subtle but it still gets the point across.

But I also agree that the current "x" in script doesn't match it that well. In fact, I don't think it even needs the white circular outline either.

So maybe a bigger red globe, no white outline, and then an X in a different font?

And also, the default browser globe with an X on it (maybe a red X?) isn't a bad idea either.
