I love lgb, runs the most stable so far, but when using Chevy's rom there was a feature I loved. Its called lock in memory, where u could pick five or six apps to lock that the task killer couldn't kill. Saves my ass a lot. Chevy's rom isn't very stable for me, but I really miss this feature

Also the task manager is WAY to aggressive, anyway to turn it down?

I mean Chevy's rom had it too, but its obnoxious to have to lock every music app

This aggressive task manager you are talking about is gingerbread! It's not easy to make a gingerrom since it wasn't decided to run on low ran devices! I hear people saying this all the time...

Hmm possible fix found? I installed autokiller memory Optimizer, and if I click on the process and click lower oom, and it makes the app the last to be killed. Listening to podcast while typing this. It's annoying to have to lower it every time, but it does protect the app

I hear many people talking about this app. I don't really like taskkillers, and I am aware that it isn't a taskkiller, its a tweaker. It changes the built in killer, but I stil don't think thats neccesarily very good to do. I'll stick with liquid gingerbread 1.7, I think I'm getting better luck without any tweaks (except deleted apps :p)

I am back to Froyo because I couldnt stand Gingerbread killing my apps. I agree that ChevyNo1's SS-5.2 was pretty awesome with the "lock in memory" thing, and my droid was going great for over a week... then I had a 2 hour Easter day car ride with music and navigation... It rebooted like 5 times and made the trip stressful... back to Froyo!
