When I tap the Back button and there is no previous page in the current tab, it would be nice if it would go back to the application from which that tab was opened (ie, the previous app). For instance, if opened from a Gmail message, go back to the Gmail app. If the tab was indeed opened from another tab in xScope, then of course go back to that tab.

I believe the stock and/or Dolphin browsers work like this, if I remember correctly.

This doesn't seem to have been added in the update I just received. Is it supposed to have been included in this last update? If so, maybe I have not communicated properly the functionality that I am requesting.

    It is included.
    Try this:
    1. Open xScope, click some links.
    2. Open market, click some a link. Then xScope opens it in a new tab.
    3. Click back button to close that tab.
It should put xScope into background.

OK. I see. Clicking BACK works ok. But if you close the tab by other means, it doesn't take you back to original app.

Actually, it does work when clicking a link in Market as you suggested, as well as in Evernote. For some reason, it does not work if clicking a link in Gmail. Odd.

Also, I wouldn't expect it to go back to the previous app if I closed the tab some other way. Just when pressing Back.
