Is there any progress on figuring out why the camera constantly locks up and FCs on the OG Droid??:icon_evil:

Are you using the deprimed ulv kernel by chance? That caused all of my camera problems.

Nope, "Vanilla" CM7.0.3. Sometimes the camera works fine. Most of the time the camera will freeze after taking one photo and repeatedly pressing the "Back" and/or "Home" keys will EVENTUALLY get the pop-up window to Force Close the app. Today I had to pull the battery and reboot the phone to get it back. Annoying as all hell. So far it is the ONLY bug I am experiencing with any regularity with CM7, but I had this with ALL GB-based ROMs so far. It's just that right now, CM7 has the least number of annoyances of all the GB-based ROMs I've tried so I'm sticking with it for now...

before using the camera i go into SETCPU and change my scaling to Performance. Camera then works.

Thanks, I'll try that. I don't have SetCPU installed, but CM7's built in performance settings will allow me to change governors. I'll let you know how it works out.

Eureka! That seems to do it. Would prefer not to have to do it, but it is a viable workaround till a real fix comes out. Thanks!
