failing email

i wrote on this site about having to remove my battery regularly to get the email program to function. tech support at Verizon and at the store were of no help other than to suggest that my trash folder was overfull. i cannot trash all those emails one at a time, and can't find a way to empty the folder all at once.

he said if this did not work I would have to get another phone. having done this 4 times with BB, i don't savor the idea of doing this again.

how do you dump the entire trash folder at once?

thanks guys; I can fix your airplane but I can't run one of these babies.

I'm probably 98% sure that unfortunately there is not a function to delete the entire folder all at once......this is EXTREMELY aggravating I know, but one-by-one is the ONLY way that I can find to delete all the emails......I just go down the list and check them all and then hit delete
