Facebook sync error

My facebook hasn't been able to sync to my contacts since January 23rd. It keeps telling me there's an error and to try again later. How the heck do I fix this?

I'm having the same problem with mine - it doesn't matter if I'm using Facebook, Twitter or both, the feeds widget keeps flaking out on me.

I finally had to install GO Launcher and then install colorized widgets to pull the information for Twitter and Facebook. But I'd much rather have the Samsung widget working again.

Found the solution:
Sync is currently experiencing problems. it will be back shortly. - Google Mobile Help

I tried it and it works for me. I actually removed my Facebook account completely after deleting the database of Contacts Storage (Located at Settings > Manage Applications). BE FOREWARNED... This may wipeout your contacts. However, if you are getting your contacts from Gmail or have Google Apps, then you should be able to resync those back in.
