Facebook Push Notification

So with 0.5 I was getting facebook push notifications for the first time.
I was alerted about new wall posts/messages/friend requests.
This was pretty exciting...as I had always wanted them to work.

I didn't bother updating to 0.6...but upon updating to 0.7 I no longer receive push notifications.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Edit:
Yes, I know I can have the facebook app search for notifications every hour or whatever.
That is not what I want. Another battery drain...and delayed updates to my social feed.

+1 here. Is anyone able to successfully get push notifications from the facebook app? I know there are other apps out there that accomplish this, but I want to use facebook's app and receive the notifications.
