Facebook contacts

Download Friendcaster app from the play store. Go to Sync in menu , add Friendcaster account and sync contacts. Can't do it with normal Facebook app on Droid.

If I'm understanding you correctly this is what I'm getting out of it,, you have a phone contact that you want to sync with their fb cocntact stuff?

1. Open phone contact
2. Click menu button
3 touch edit
4 click menu again
5 join

At that point all the similar names should show up just touch the fb profile you want to associate with the phone Contact, then touch save.

Fb app will automatically put your friends list in your contact list, you might have to play with some of the phone book settings to see contacts without phone numbers but they are there. I hope I helped and got the idea of your question right.

I had the same issue for awhile. what I ended up doing was flashing eclipse and the sync worked. then I used rsd lite to go back to 902 stock and its been working ever since.

Robert70 that's exactly right for what I want just doesn't work.
I just can't find an option for any way to connect fb to my phone through the contacts.

Did you check under accounts and see if Facebook is in there?

Yes fb isnt an option for an account I can add in contacts or in accounts and sync in the actual settings

So if you go to settings> accounts> add account Facebook don't show up in the list?

Ok. If you have tibu use it to go through your apps and see if there is one in there that says Facebook authenticator. also do you have Facebook app installed?

Tibu is that its name? And I will look. I never had the fb app before and I don't now.

I do have from tool box installed and I just grabbed fb for android app

Ok tibu is titanium backup. Try downloading the Facebook app then go under accounts and see if its there.

Lol yeah never used tibu but! The original fb app did the trick now just to set it to never push data. I'm good to go tyvm. Now to convince my wife to let me root her d2 for her

I want to join my facebook account and my gmail account-how do I do this? Don't see an option to join accounts
