The "official" Facebook app doesn't work very well, it's horribly slow and just doesn't do a good job of what it's supposed to do.
I've tried Friendcaster and Seesmic, while they're both much faster they are missing a lot of the functionality that's in the "official" app. I don't see the "Bloo" app in the market anymore so I guess that's dead or no longer supported. I've been using the mobile website for a time but that's a little hard to use as well.
Any suggestions for other apps?
