Extremely loud call volume

I have this issue that I've had w two Droids now, and its mainly when talking to someone else who has a Droid. Even on the lowest call volume it is painful to talk on the phone bc it is so loud. Not sure if it is a setting or what.. Any suggestions?

Well like I said its painful, just thought maybe I had a setting enabled / disabled maybe... Or the Droid I was talking to maybe needed to change a setting
