If so, who did you purchase it through?

If you didn't for any other reason than $$$, why didn't you buy it?

Nope. Saw no need. I've never had warranty issues past the first year with any of my smartphones. Insurance, on the other hand, is a completely different matter.

If I do want an extended warranty I have several credit cards that will do this at no cost for any purchases made with them. IIRC, they only extend the warranty by a year and have some other restrictions though.
