    Hey all,

I know this was probably discussed in another thread/forum, but does anyone have any reccommendations for an extended battery? I've seen some slim extended batteries from Seidio but wanted some input on them before spending $50 on a new batt.

    Thanks!

Search for d2 extended battery a Motorola upgrade. Hear better reviews on it rather than after market batteries.

Ya I have the d2 ext battery. Works awesome. The only thing is it sticks out a little bit compared to the original battery. It comes with a battery cover to fit it or you can do what I do. I have a seidio case and just put the case over the phone without the battery cover on and it holds it perfectly with no problems. I can get a whole day in with no problems now so I highly recommend it. You can order them from amazon for around 30 dollars.

forget all the aftermarket batts, especially seido (overpriced underdeliver) and the ones that claim to magically get more mah out of the same batt size. see here for some revealing info:

best bet, go with the D2 extended batt. i've got it on mine and my wife's phone and it's the bee's knees. hours of happy droiding, and it really hardly adds any bulk to the phone at all, unlike some of those rediculous warts that claim to be ~3500 mah but aren't really anyway.

i previously bought one of the gorilla style "big ass batts" off of ebay and its performance was not even as good as my worn out 1.5 yr old original moto batt.

    Thanks!
