Extended battery question?

Is there any way to make the extended battery work with the Otterbox Defender series case? I have the otterbox case, but I don't wanna buy the battery and find out it doesn't work. I can't see it fitting. Help is great appreciated because the battery is still terrible. ICS can't fix that.

It works if you leave the back inner cover off and just use the outer soft cover. Pretty solid protection, lots of ppl do it that way. I strongly encourage the ext battery, I love mine!

You can out the section that the extended battery uses with a dremmel. Then it all fits together just fine
