im trying to decide which extended battery to get compared to the 1400 it comes with. what are all the choices out there?

I know theres 1700, 1800 (I believe?) 2750 and 3500. I would love to go for a 3500 but I dont think I really want to extend the depth of the phone too. Which options allow me to use my regular battery back and not an extended back?

The ones I've seen for sell are 1400 (standard), 1600, 2750, and 3200. I'm sure there are more, those are just the ones I'm aware of. Of those four the 1400 obviously and the 1600 allow you to use your standard battery back.

I think the 3500 comes with wheels. I got the two 1700 with wall charger from HTC express. Working well. About 25% increase for me.

I have those and they work like crap for me. They dont even last as long as the stock battery on my phone. Also, the indicator light on the charger crapped out after like a few days lol.

IMO, the only TB extended battery that is worth anything is the HTC 2750mah battery. I had that one for a day and it worked as advertised. I took it back because I didnt like how it weighed down my pants when in my pocket.

I have a 3500 and it was the best thing I ever bought. It adds a little bit of bulk yea, but my phone lasts 4x longer than it previously did. Without a doubt highly recommend it.

Where exactly did you get yours? I just got a 3500 as well off of Ebay....
The first use was great, dropped about 3% in an hour with moderate use. But the past couple days it has been HORRIBLE, dropping just as fast as my stock battery when I'm not even doing anything on my phone.

Getting a refund,

I bought off of androidcentral. And pardon me its a 3200mah not 3500, I just guessed on my first post cause I knew it was in the 3's. Anyway its a seidio I've had it for a few weeks now and it lasts easily 2 full days with moderate use daily.

I have a 2300 for my Droid 2 and it sucks! Barely makes a difference. Getting the $50 one at VZW

I would suggest the 2750. I tried the Seidio 3200 and let's just say if I could get my money back I would.

Interesting, what's your gripe with it? If I may ask. Cause like I said, mine has been working swimmingly, and giving me around 4x stock life.

I charged the battery per the instructions for several cycles and still the charge was less than what I was getting with the 2750. I have nothing snyching in the background other than Gmail.

The 2750mAh OEM battery has been great. No complaints. The size is not as bad as some people made it seem. But to each their own. The pros outweigh the cons. I love seeing 35+Mbps download speeds. That's faster than what most people get for home WiFi.
