Hello,

I just got my first droid after making the switch from Blackberry.

I got the pro-- and i like it. But i am having issues with my exchange. I have multiple folders and rules set up to deliver certain people i deal with often to certain folders. I get these e-mails...but no notification comes up and it doesnt appear in my messaging widget.

All the folders are set to background sync + default length.

Do i have to do something special to get them to come up in the widget? its kind of bad if i dont know i got the e-mails from these people.

thanks!

I am not sure that you can set a notification for subfolders. What app are you using

The messaging app is text I believe. I use Exchange with the corporate email app. I do not have rules to send mail to specific folder. I have not tried to do so but I do not see a way. All I see is a single notification setting

yea the default mail app shows text and corporate e-mail. They are both selected to show-- but it doesnt show sub folders.

Any suggestions on apps that show sub folders? This is kind of important and a major "flaw" in my book with the software...

The corporate app does support and display subfolders. Open the application tap menu, tap folders. Check out touchdown email app in the market. It is a paid app but they offer a 30 free trial

I have the same problem on my Droid X, and I haven't been able to find a way to get notifications for the folder email.

I have tried using the Touchdown 30-day trial, but I'd rather get the native functionality to work if I can.
