I don't think we have any members here with this phone. Price was dropped to $499 which is a good starting point and where I believe this phone should've been priced on release.. Hopefully they can send more software updates to clean up some complaints.

imo, that should have been the price to begin with.

I picked up this phone yesterday for $450 at Best Buy.

Gotta say my first impressions of this phone are extremely positive. Much better than many of the initial reviewers were leading me to believe.

Build quality is astounding at this price point. I also haven't experienced any lags that others claim. The only thing I'm not sure of is that scrolling is slightly wonky with my thumb for some reason, but finger scrolling is normal. ? Strange. Probably just me - maybe I got a bum thumb! Lol. Anyhow, the screen is really really good - excellent actually. To my eyes it easily outshines both Pixel 2 devices I looked at.

I got this phone to play with for a couple weeks....I am planning on getting the Note 8, but after a day of use, I may just hold on to it and forgo the Note 8 - save myself a few hundred dollars in the process. After a week or two of daily use I will decide, but I'm absolutely impressed beyond my own expectations after 24 hours of use.

I do wish it had wireless charging....

if it fit your needs, no reason to get the note 8. save your cash :)

Congratulations on the phone great deal. I heard the only really bad complain lately still the camera but I was looking in a review and they were using the Google HDR Plus which made it easier to use
