The zip file you downloaded.
I renamed the .zip that I downloaded update and tried to restore from that directly and I still got the error 25 message.
If you were doing a true restore you wouldn't get that error because you would just be restoring a backup of your own. It sounds like you are doing a update.
So as others have stated, if you are using windows just rename the file to update. Then make sure it is not inside any folder, not even the nandroid folder. It needs to be on the root of the sd card itself. Meaning when you open you sd card up, you should see it there not inside any folders. Then attempt to update again.
Is it on the root of you sd card? The location should be SD\update. If you have it here in SD\nandroid\update, it won't work.
If its on the root of the sd card how to you select it to restore from?
If using SPRecovery, select install at the bottom, then select allow update.zip. The last thing to select after allow update.zip is install /sdcard/update.zip (deprecated).
