Empty Trash

How do I empty the trash. I send old emails to the trash, but can not empty the trash.

Are you using the "Gmail" app or the "Email" app?

You need to empty your trash via the desktop site... I can throw anything in the trash I want... But I log into the desktop site to empty....

Its a pain, but that's how it is for now I guess...

Thank you for the information. I logged into the desktop site and was able to clean out the trash.
