The droid keypad text entry UI is driving me slowly insane.

I just typed "because I'm getting too many emails" and what got sent was "because I'm getting too many snails" because droid thinks "emails" is a spelling error and "helps me out" by changing what I type.

People want to know why I'm getting too many snails.

Why doesn't droid think "emails" is a legitimate word?

Should I have typed "e-mails" or "email messages" or "electronic mail messages"? How would droid prefer I enter this word?

I've never noticed how the dictionary is set up on that word, but that's not an issue. All you have to do is tap it the next time you type it and tell the dictionary it's a word. Issue over.
