Is there a setting that would allow you to delete an email from your Droid after reading, but not delete from the server. I would like to be able to quickly review on my droid, and then later respond or whatever from my laptop if necessary.

GMail mail is a little different from a regular inbox, it uses labels to group mail, sort of like folders.

Once I read something, I change the labels on the individual emails to group them differently and move them out of my inbox, and then I can review specific labels later and reply or delete or whatever I want to do.

Meanwhile the email is considered read and is out of the way.
