Yeah, k9 doesn't have IMAP completely handled. One of my email accounts uses very old mail server software. K9 doesn't work well with it, so I needed to access it with POP3. K9 is worth a shot. Maildroid is another, and then Touchdown for exchange. What else is there???

Our company just moved to Exchange from Novell Groupwise. Night-and-day, to say the least.

I had been using the stock mail app initially to get my emails, but as noted, it stinks. I downloaded Touchdown this week while on a biz trip and it really seems to work well for me. I can get my corporate calendar, email, and contacts all in one app. Delivery seems to be the same as on the stock mail app... often getting mail on my phone before it even shows up on my laptop. Plus, I like being able to set up a sig file and such.

After three days of use, my guess is that I will spend the $$ and purchase Touchdown when my trial expires. (On a side note... Anyone know if there are any coupons floating around for a discount?)
