Email not sending

I am having trouble getting email to send.
I have tried SS 4.6 and 4.7, and lithmod.
text only, or pictures and text; all my emails stay in the outbox and never send

Try going to Settings > Applications > All > Gmail and do a "clear data" on it. This happens to me frequently when switching ROMs and clearing data fixes it.

The other suggestions, had that not worked, would be:
-don't use a task killer
-make sure sync is on

I don't use a task killer
I already forced sync
