Email From Issues w/DroidX

When friends get an email from me, it identifies the sender as "ME" not my name or my email address. I cannot find where to change this setting or if it is a setting or what. Some are deleting important emails because the "from" looks suspicious. What can I do?

Launch the "My accounts" app, select the email address from the list and under general options, change the "Real Name" to whatever you want.
