Email filter?

A friend had her hotmail email co-opted and now I'm get spam several times a day from her email address. She opened a new gmail account and closed the hotmail but I'm still getting the spam. Is ther a filter on the Droid2G to filter this address and delete all emails?

Does your account not have filters? It's generally best practice to filter before it reaches the device.

I've figured out the gmail filter, but not how to filter the mail going into my other account on the phone. This is $%&@ annoying.

You'd have to go onto your other account and apply your filter settings there.

I don't know how important email notifications are to you, but I personally turn them off. Saves battery and in case I get spam on my Yahoo account.
