is there an email app for the moto droid that lets the email be on a the main screen and automatically show up? I have seen it on other peoples droids but they just say its a stock thing (they were on a different carrier)

There is no widget for email or gmail on the Moto Droid. The HTC Sence UI *might* have this but I never used any of those phones. There might be a widget you can download for free or paid on the market that does this, but I don't see the need personally so I have never looked...

Hmmm...not sure why. Works for me on my stock non rooted Droid. Are you picking widgets or shortcuts?
