Eliminate the audible "Verizon Wireless" Announcments

I've had my DX for nearly 2 months and know who provides the service. I don't need to be reminded where my monthly service fees are going. The most annoying thing about the phone is the audible "Verizon Wireless" announcements when I make a call or lose signal.Is there a setting or switch that can be selected to get rid of the announcements?

I would like to know this also...for some reason, starting yesterday, whenever I make a call it says "Verizon Wireless" before it starts ringing. I don't seem to remember it doing this before...and did not change any settings.

Thoughts...?

Settings/sound/uncheck Roaming tone.
