Ed Hardy has to be the worst poser clothing brand out there.

Some of the affliction shirts are dope though... The designs atleast, the name sucks.

Hopefully the cases work and protect the phone really well. Droids are going to be taking a lot of falls.... it's hard to hold on to them with all that sunless tanner on your hands, while you're fist pumpin like a champ!

(not directed at anyone in this thread specifically)
I gotta admit, that was funny. So is that poster.

For the record, I don't have anything against Ed Hardy gear, Affliction gear, any of that stuff specifically. I don't personally like the designs but that is neither here nor there. My only problem is that the ONLY people I know personally who wear the stuff are indeed all huge douches. Not exactly the brand's fault I suppose, but like they say; you can tell a lot about someone by the company they keep. Goes for companies too. But buy whatever you personally like and rock it how you want.

I dont argue with you, most people wearing it ARE huge douches. But let me tell a story. Years ago in high school a friend of mine had a crush on a girl that was known to be the school slut. I warned him not to mess with her but he did. Eventually I confronted her and she told me off, telling me that I didnt know anything and that I should get to know her not based on what people say but on my own. I did and I found out not only was she not a slut but she was a great person. We became great friends before school was out.

Case in point? So what if most people wearing it are douches. There may be some that arent, and you shouldnt just label someone like that without knowing them. I think thats the most annoying part about this whole thread.

In theory I agree 100% with this post (apostrophe key broken by chance?), and actually wish I had no other obligations in my life then to find out all the great things about everyone I meet.

In practice? I don't really have time for the friends/family I have. Little clues like this let me know I don't need to waste my time getting to know this person. Regardless of whether or not they are a douche, we aren't likely to have much in common worthy of elevating them out of "acquaintance" status.

Exactly nvash. People here that are stereotyping the people who wear the brand is funny.

While I agree about the stereotyping of anything in most cases, I have never seen one so readily accepted and rarely disproven as the one in this thread (and as I have already admitted I agree with). It's unfortunate for the non-dbags, but fortunately it is not near the severity of many other stereotypes.

However, the more I think about this it isn't necessarily the brand. Other brands such as Affliction have been mentioned as well but it almost always mentions their t-shirts. This leads me to believe its not necessarily the brand that attracts d-bags, but the mindset and ideal that an overpriced t-shirt is a fashion statement that draws them.

Time for a scientific study on the impact of douche-baggery and the t-shirt/cotton industry.

IMO, Christian Audigier makes Ed Hardy look bad. Ed Hardy's tats are bad ass. His artwork is based on alot of Japanese themes. Christian licensed his work and designed a clothing line BASED on his Hardys work. Not his actual artwork. I love art of all mediums and when i saw what Chrisitian did to his design, i was like damn thas fugly. If you look at any of Hardys actual artwork, you will see it looks very different then what Chrisitian is designing. Dont get me wrong, some people can wear it in good taste, others for commercial reasons, others as a gimmick and others cause they have no mind of their own and go with trends at the drop of a hat. It sucks that when you see his Christian trying to promote his lineup, the models he uses are just a bunch of suped up, super muscle, tomtato tanned jerkoffs. The girls are nothing busted up barbie dolls that didnt make it in the porn industry. For those who saw it on FB. Looks at the photos..Thas the everyday lineup of C.Audigier's Ed Hardy models. No taste, whack as hell and just straight dumb. Affliction is no different, i would prefer Affliction simply cause, its not all whacked out. And in the world of art, you just been punkd by your own design.

I've always found that the ones stereotyping are just as DB as the DB's that they are prejudiced against. People seem to love to make judgments based on (speculative in many cases) opinion versus experience for some reason. Assess each person as an individual is my motto but to each his own.
