I have tried several of the readers but because the Droid does not allow Adobe I cannot download ebooks to read (aside from some of the "free books" or text books.

Is there a reader that will facilitate books or a way around the Adobe issue?

I use ereader from ereader.com and have no complaints. Its not in the market but is supported on the website which is the only place to download it that I know of.
