Hi, new member here...this is probably more of a Windows question but I thought I'd give it a try here.

I just purchased the paid Easytether for my Droid and am in the process of installing it. When I start downloading it on my pc, I get a warning message:
The software you are installing has not passed Windows logo testing to verify its compatability with Windows XP.

and then it continues with a long message about how this will screw up my computer eventually.

Am I installing the wrong software? Did anyone else get this?

Thanks.

You are installing an "unsigned driver" which simply means that Microsoft has not verified the code that allows the hardware interactions for which it controls. You can most of the time ignore this message. The software is most likely perfectly fine and functional, it just hasn't been verified by Microsoft themselves.
